I made a serving tray as a wedding present. I thought what to write on it. I couldn't decide to write Valerie & Trevor, or Trevor & Valerie. Then I decided to not decide an order, but do both as one. I created an ambigram with their names. Viewed one way it says Valerie. The other way says Trevor. I thought it was the perfect way to symbolize their union.

The tray is made of padauk, walnut, and mahogany. I hand chiseled the design and filled it with black epoxy.
