HomeSuite is an app that I worked on as part of the software development team at Digital Entertainment Systems. HomeSuite is basically a "smart house" app. It can control audio, video, HVAC, lights, security, paging, intercom and pool settings. I created conecpt art, graphic resources, and had a hand in the user experience. There were many different ways we could have approached the functionality.

Eventually, we settled on selecting the system (audio, video, etc.) then the zone to control. The controls were then determined by what equipment was in the home. There might be dimmable lights, different audio sources, humidity control or scheduling on the thermostat. This meant that the entire interface had to be extremely versatile.
